USTA
Junior Team Tennis consists of a three-day qualifying tournament for the
opportunity to advance to the Intermountain Sectional Championship. The age division
cut-off is the age of the player as of August 31, 2011. Co-ed teams of at least
six players are comprised of
players of similar age and skill. Teams compete in one of two age divisions: 14 & under or 18 & under. Within these age divisions, there is a level
for intermediate and advanced players. The format for USTA Junior Team
Tennis is boys and girls singles, boys and girls doubles and mixed doubles. The team winning the most GAMES
wins the team match.
A USTA MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED.
League registration begins May 1, 2011. Contact a tennis facility near you to
